So they're saying, well, we'll pay for the reactors, we'll pay for it and we'll provide our own power. Now, is there a possibility now that a New South Wales Premier, maybe South Australian Premier or others might just say, well, look, at the very least, lift the ban because we've got people willing to do this. 20:08 It's not an economic issue and it's zero emissions. And also, with those inflation numbers today, so the ABS says this is how much prices have risen by, and they'll say there's this and there's that. I am intrigued because we know that the unemployment numbers, and a lot of you raised this, and I've had the interview done a couple of times with the ABS. 123:03 It's a huge survey. So they do a massive survey each month of the community to come up with what the unemployment rate is. So it's not... Real-time figures. Someone loses their job. Their little number goes up in an office in Canberra. With the ABS, it's a mix. Some of it is real-time information they get, say, from supermarkets and the likes to what they're paying for certain products. And then you've got the baskets of goods. And so energy costs, all of that gets fed into the mix. 123:35 And even insurance, the numbers there. Obviously, insurance has gone up, but... Some of you will look at that and think, well, it's gone up a lot more for me. 123:46 So we might dig into that with Joel Gibson a little bit later on in the program and plenty more coming up, but right now let's do this. 124:10 No mais revolving door. 124:36 It says serial offenders and pedophiles will have to prove they deserve bail in a major overhaul of the judicial system. In new laws to deliver Premier David Christofoli's breach bail go to jail crackdown to be introduced tomorrow. Alleged offenders who commit a serious crime while on bail for a serious offence ou face a higher threshold to be freed on bail again. Under the plan, a court should refuse bail unless it has high confidence the offender will not commit another serious offence while on bail. Adults charged with a coercive control or child sex offence will also have to prove why they deserve bail. 125:11 And I guess you hear that and you think, well, that's obvious. Child sex and coercive control is something that needs to be taken seriously. And the victims of those things would not be very happy to have that person... 125:24 So that's a very, very important threshold they've outlined there. They've got inflation gut punch. This is the news that suggests that maybe interest rates will be going up. We'll wait and see. And also the question of this huge AI revolution, this massive number of data centres being built everywhere. I touched on this in our NewsHour today. And there is now at the National Cabinet an agreement that they'll try to use renewables in them. But Queensland is saying we're going to keep a... 125:53 . . . . . 126:16 é menos concerning right now as to how many there are, where they're being built, and they're still coming up with regulations that should apply to these data centres. And from what I read, when they come up with the regulations, they won't be retrospective and they're going up everywhere. So maybe we need to try and be a bit more cognizant of where they are, how they're going to be powered, and while you can talk about renewables and fossil fuels, there was, and this has been reported in the Financial Review, there were some Google people here last week who were lobbying governments in relation to data centres and saying, well, we can power them ourselves. 126:56 Now, the argument against modular nuclear reactors is they're still being developed. 127:05 They're costly. Who's going to pay for them? And so if the companies are saying, well, we'll pay for it. 127:13 Well, at the very least, surely that's an argument to lift the ban on nuclear power, and then if the companies want to pay for them and set them up, we'll find out whether they work. So that's, I think, the more important story on that one. I haven't got the front page of the Telegraph in Sydney. And so I think what you can say fairly is the government's teasing out a few of the things they're planning to do with the migration system. 130:50 In summary, a system is full of holes because there's a whole lot of visas and other passages into the country which are uncapped and the government really hasn't got much of a handle on how many people are coming in. And we had the pandemic where immigration was stopped. People were demanding people come into the country post the pandemic. The Morrison government extended quite a few of these visas and started this huge flow of people coming back into the country. But there's this one at 18 past 11 that I think is important. 133:01 It says, the Bondi terrorist Sajid Akram's application for a gun licence took 10 times longer to be processed by New South Wales Police than the then average weight, with new evidence suggesting it may initially have been refused amidst security concerns and then issued after he appealed. 133:19 A 50-year-old gunman was shot dead by police during the massacre last December. He was issued the gun licence in July 2023. He applied to the firearms registry in June 2020. The Australians investigated and found purported registry backlogs cited by New South Wales authorities for the three-year delay in vetting him were cleared more than six months before he was granted the licence. So they've said, well, it took this long because there's a huge backlog. The Australians had a look and said, well, that backlog was cleared. 16 meses before he was granted the licence, so why another 16 months? 133:53 That's the question being asked as to whether there were concerns raised about him. That's why there was the delay, but then he was given the gun. Again, raising questions about security failures leading up to what happened last year. And they've also got the story about the inflation, the rates pressure on the RBA. We'll see what comes of that. We've talked a fair bit of course this afternoon and this evening about the inflation and the fact that the cost of living is still going up, not perhaps by as much as it has been, but then within it there are a whole lot of things that have gone up. So leaving aside what's going to happen with interest rates, I think the interesting thing is digging into these numbers and what does it tell us about what prices are rising? You've gone into that haven't you? 142:21 Sim, eu tenho. As you say, it's probably more reliable in some categories than others. But there are plenty of people who will tell you it costs 20% more to build a house than it did a year ago. This data would suggest it's more like 6% more. So sometimes when you see this data, you think it doesn't quite align with what you're hearing and seeing in the real world. I look at the insurance numbers, for example. That's just come out in the last hour or so. The US, their inflation number is 3.7%. And I'm looking at some of the analysis of that. And it reads, it's strikingly similar to what they're saying about Australia and the challenges that are being faced. And then you've got higher... E aí They're very, very big numbers, but economically the US is teetering at the moment, that 3.7% inflation number just dropping in the last hour. 147:51 And there is also another very important story that's just dropped in the US not long ago. This was a case that had been taken by some 29 states against Meta, and it was to do with claims by a lot of the states in the US that Meta, Facebook and their other, Instagram and the others, had designed Facebook and Instagram to addict children, had misled consumers about their safety and then improperly collected personal data of kids who used the platforms. 148:22 Now, this was going to go to trial and some of the states were saying that they're going to be asking for Muito bem, muito bem. 148:57 Mas o que aconteceu é que Meta já se tornou.
